Liverpool’s predicted starting line-up against Shrewsbury - with TEN changes made from Chelsea draw

Liverpool have had a Covid-19 outbreak in the build-up to kick-off so could be missing several of their key men.

Liverpool open their 2021-22 FA Cup campaign when they welcome Shrewsbury to Anfield in the third round on Sunday (14.00).

The Reds will be expected to avoid a banana skin and move into the next stage of the competition against the League One outfit.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s side’s preparations have been hampered in the build-up to the game.

A Covid-19 outbreak forced Liverpool to postpone their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at Arsenal on Thursday, while their Kirkby-based training ground was closed for several days.

Liverpool were missing Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip for the 2-2 draw at Chelsea last weekend after they all contracted coronavirus.

Manager Jurgen Klopp was also absent at Stamford Bridge as he too was isolating, although there is hope he will be back in charge against Shrewsbury.

It’s difficult to know who or who not might be available for the game against Steve Cotterill’s side.

However, he’s how we think Liverpool will line-up.
