Liverpool are gearing up for their latest Premier League outing, an away trip to Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.

The Reds are still in with a chance of ending the season with as many as four trophies, still in the thick of the Premier League title race, as well as having booked a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Jurgen Klopp’s men lost their second leg with Inter Milan during the week, but they still managed to progress with a 2-1 win on aggregate having done the hard work in the first match.

As the Reds focus on the task ahead, there are still plenty of transfer rumours concerning them ahead of the summer, and we’ve rounded up the latest below:

Coutinho return?

Philippe Coutinho has once again been linked with a move back to Liverpool, amid his impressive performances on loan with Villa.

Villa are likely to try to sign the midfielder permanently themselves, but they could be priced out amid a reported asking price of £43million from Barcelona.

According to a number of reports, including from Four Four Two, Liverpool themselves could make a move, but only if the midfielder is willing to take a big cut on his current salary.

David race

Liverpool appear to be making a serious run at landing Lille frontman Jonathan David.

David is expected to be on the move this summer, and he may not be short of options, with Le10 Sport reporting that both Arsenal and Liverpool are vying for his signature.

The 22-year-old has scored 26 goals in 64 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille since arriving from Gent in 2020.

Gomez suitors

Joe Gomez is a man in demand ahead of this summer, with the centre-back expected to move on.

Gomez has seen his game time reduced since the arrival of Ibrahima Konate, and he could well leave to get more regular football.

According to 90min, there are as many as four Premier League suitors, with Tottenham, Leicester, Newcastle and West Ham all said to be considering a move.
