With the latest edition of FIFA set to be released on October 1, Liverpool’s player ratings have been released.

Here’s all you need to know about the Reds’ squad on the game.

Top rated

It’s a four-way split for that title at Liverpool.

Unsurprisingly, Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Alisson have been crowned joint kings. They all have ratings of 89.

In behind come full-back wizards Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson - both with an 87 mark.

Lowest rated

It unsurprisingly goes to five youngsters who are part of the under-23s.

Goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga, defenders Morgan Boyes, Billy Koumetio and Tom Clayton and midfielder Elijah Dixon-Bonner have been given ratings of 57.

Nevertheless, they’re all probably delighted to even be including in the most popular video game in the world.

Of those around Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad, Republic of Ireland keeper Caoimhin Kelleher clocks 67 while Neco Williams is handed a mark of 68.

Biggest increase

Meanwhile, Diogo Jota enjoyed a fine maiden campaign at Anfield despite his injuries.

The Portuguese netted 13 goals in 30 matches and has gone up by +2 to 82.

Nat Phillips stepped in superbly for Liverpool during their defensive crisis last season. He made 22 appearances in all competitions to help the Reds finish third and was handed a new long-term deal in August.

The centre-back’s rating has increased by +2 to 73.

Rhys Williams also filled in magnificently when the likes of van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip were all sidelined.

He’s currently on loan at Swansea and his mark has gone up by +2 to 65.

Of the others, Kelleher, Curtis Jones (73) and Harvey Elliott (73) have gone up by one.

Biggest decrease

Forgotten-man Loris Karius has taken a huge hit.

The keeper has not played for Liverpool since his infamous performance in the 2018 Champions League final loss to Real Madrid. He drops -3 to 75.

Kostas Tsimikas’ lack of opportunities last season after arriving from Olympiacos means he’s been bumped down.

The left-back made just seven appearances in all competitions and has been bumped down -2 to 74. Goalkeeper Adrian has suffered the same fate.

Surprisingly, so too has captain Jordan Henderson to 84.

Biggest surprise

Harvey Elliott started this season in barnstorming form before suffering his horrific ankle injury at Leeds.

The creative midfielder was establishing himself as a regular in Klopp’s side on the back of netting seven goals on loan at Blackburn last term.

He could feel slightly aggrieved with his rating of 73, although he does have the potential to reach 87 on the game.
