Mohamed Salah could improve on his highly successful record at the Vitality Stadium this weekend as Liverpool travel to the South West to face Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The Egyptian has a 100% record against the Cherries and has scored eight goals in seven games and he is on course to add to those numbers considering he’s coming off the back of scoring four in four games, including two against Manchester United last week.

Liverpool crushed Bournemouth at Anfield earlier in the season 9-0 as they recorded their biggest ever Premier League win, but, somehow, Salah didn’t manage get on the scoresheet on that occasion but he will be raring to go on Saturday.

In his last three appearances on the South Coast, he’s scored five times, including a hat-trick in a 4-0 win in 2018.

Furthermore, if Salah nets against Bournemouth, he will become the Reds’ leading scorer away from home in the Premier League. He is currently on 55, alongside Michael Owen.

Despite Liverpool’s struggles this season, Salah has remained a strong attacking threat with his two goals last weekend taking him to 22 goals and 11 assists for the season.

Any myths surrounding his form have been quashed, and rightly so.

It’s now seven goal involvements in five games in the Premier League and his recent efforts have seen him climb above Robbie Fowler in Liverpool’s highest all-time Premier League goalscorers. He now holds the record for both the Premier League and Champions League.
