Stats gurus predict Liverpool and Everton final Premier League finishes
Fortunes couldn’t be much more different on Merseyside right now.
For Liverpool, Saturday evening’s 1-0 win over West Ham allowed the Reds to stay within six points of league leaders Manchester City, while also navigating one of the trickiest banana skins left in their fixture schedule.
The Hammers caused Jurgen Klopp’s men issues on occasion, but ultimately didn’t have enough to find a way past Alisson, and left Anfield with their tail between their legs.
Across Stanley Park, and at the other end of the table, Everton have to wait until Monday evening to face off against Tottenham, but know that anything other than a win will leave them teetering on the edge of the relegation zone.
But how will both Merseyside clubs fare over the remainder of the campaign?
We’ve taken a look at stats gurus FiveThirtyEight’s latest predicted Premier League table to find out.
