Liverpool were able to secure most of their key players to long-term contracts last summer.

As the Reds’ Premier League rivals were spending big, Liverpool were working on extending the stays of their biggest stars and will see the likes of Alisson and Virgil van Dijk remain on Merseyside for years to come.

Foreign clubs are able to open talks with players this month as they look to sort pre-contract agreements and Jurgen Klopp could see a number of his players departing for free at the end of the season.
