A Liverpool restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mei Mei, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 471 West Derby Road, Liverpool was given the score after assessment on June 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Liverpool's 989 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 613 (62%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
