A Liverpool takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Village Pizza, a takeaway at 108 St Marys Road, Liverpool was given the score after assessment on April 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Liverpool's 526 takeaways with ratings, 214 (41%) have ratings of five and just seven have zero ratings.
