A Sefton drinking establishment has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Cat & Fiddle, a pub, bar or nightclub at The Cat And Fiddle, Stanley Road, Bootle was given the score after assessment on June 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sefton's 246 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 207 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
