A Sefton takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Finnegans Fish Bar & Takeaway Ltd, a takeaway at 70 Hawthorne Road, Bootle was given the maximum score after assessment on March 8, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sefton's 262 takeaways with ratings, 182 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
