A St Helens takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Shere Khan Express, a takeaway at 75 Liverpool Road, St Helens was given the score after assessment on January 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of St Helens's 170 takeaways with ratings, 50 (29%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
