A St Helens takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Frankies, a takeaway at 34 Westfield Street, St Helens was given the score after assessment on February 8, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of St Helens's 172 takeaways with ratings, 50 (29%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
