5. Johnny English Traditional Fish & Chips
🍽️ Moving back to cheap and cheerful Traditional fish and chips revels in its simplicity and authenticity. The battered sausage dinner might be one of the best value meals in Liverpool, at only £5.50 for three battered sausages, yes three, chips gravy and mushy peas. It's almost impossible to complain at that price. Despite the low price the quality remains to a high standard and any student not looking to break the bank should give them a visit. 📍 62 Bold Street, Liverpool. 📱 0151 345 3794. 6. The GPO food market
🍽️ Located in the Met Quarter, this place is perfect for picky eaters. If you and a friend can't agree on cuisine it's worth going to the place you can eat an Indian while your friend eats a Greek at the same table. Serving everything from Chinese to fried chicken, this is great for those who can't decide on one thing. Out of experience, the Greek stall offers excellent authentic food and with all dishes being on the lower end price wise, with the addition of a student discount, it's hard to go wrong with this one. 📍 35 Victoria Street. 7. Go Taco, Lodge Lane
🍽️ It can be hard to find a good Mexican as it might not be the first choice that comes to mind. However, Go taco is always worth a try. Despite a smaller menu it is still worth trying just for the quality of the taco's. The taco box includes either three beef or chicken tacos, a pot of birria sauce, nachos in cheese with salsa and guacamole and a drink. It's worth waiting for an offer to come along to reduce the price (£14.50) as student deals come around regularly. 📍 46a Lodge Lane, Liverpool. 📱 0151 453 1515. Photo: Grinchh/stock.adobe
