The new listings for the Michelin Guide 2023 were released at a special awards ceremony at the Silverstone Circuit on Monday evening and there is a brand new entry from in and around the Merseyside region.
The Guide awards up to three Michelin stars for excellence to a select few establishments, while it awards Bib Gourmands to choice eateries and recommends others.

5. Manifest
Where: 4a Watkinson Street, Liverpool, L1 0AG. The Michelin Guide says: Set on the ground floor of a converted warehouse; an open plan kitchen dominates the room and there are counter seats for those who wish to be close to the action. 6. Barnacle
Where: 46 Duke Street, Duke Steer Market, Liverpool, L1 5AS. The Michelin Guide says: Above the food stalls of Duke Street Market sits this rustic restaurant with decorative references to the area’s former rope-making businesses. Where: Britannia Pavilion, Albert Dock, Liverpool, L3 4AD. The Michelin Guide says: Located within the Royal Albert Dock; its name is Welsh for ‘Liverpool’ as owners, the Barrie brothers, have strong connections to Anglesey.
