England have made it through to the final of the UEFA European Championship 2024, which kicked off almost a month ago.
Starting on June 14 with 24 nations battling it out to be named the best in Europe, it’s been a tense tournament for England, with manager Gareth Southgate receiving criticism about the squad’s performance.
However, the Three Lions topped their group and beat the Netherlands in a thrilling semi-final on Wednesday night to make it through to the final, which will be held at the Olympiastadion, in Berlin.
Securing their chance to compete against Spain for the title, England beat the Netherlands 2-1 thanks to a late goal by Ollie Watkins and a first-half penalty by captain, Harry Kane.
The final will take place at 8.00pm on Sunday (July 14) and while some England fans will be lucky enough to have tickets, most of us will be watching the final at home or in our local pub.
