29. Municipal Buildings, Dale Street
Municipal Buildings is a former council office Grade II* listed building on Dale Street that has been converted into a five-star hotel. The building was built between 1862 and 1868 and was put up for sale by the council 2016. The quadrangular building has three storeys and is built of stone in the Second Empire style.
