Boots teams up with Deliveroo on delivery service in Liverpool: which branches and how it works

Boots has confirmed it is expanding its  partnership with delivery service Deliveroo in  Liverpool stores. Not only that but even more products will be on offer as part of the delivery scheme too.

With 14 sites trialled by both companies in 2021, the success of the trial has led now to an extension of the service to 125 different sites across the United Kingdom.

It means that those who have been using the service already in Liverpool may now find an additional range of products added, as Boots has used the pilot scheme to also gather information about what customers regularly bought through Deliveroo.

That expansion in products now means that new customers to the service have 750 items they can shop for, be it skin care products or a spare pack of nappies for emergency Friday night situations.

In a statement from Boots Chief Digital Officer Paula Bobbett, the company cited the ease of access for customers to gather last minute items, alongside preparing for the winter season.

“Through Deliveroo, our customers can get cough, cold and flu relief products and mild pain relief delivered to their doors to help them with the symptoms of mild illnesses this winter, or baby wipes and nappies for those every-day childcare emergencies.”

“The original trial in 14 stores was a huge success and gave us the opportunity to learn very quickly what our customers want from a rapid delivery service. Now as we expand to 125 stores across the UK, we can be sure the products available on the service are well matched to customer needs.“

How do I order from Boots through Deliveroo?

You can download the Deliveroo app for Android and iPhones by visiting either the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store, or use a home computer and visit Deliveroo’s website.

It’s as simple as entering in your address for delivery, selecting the Boots store closest to your area and then adding your items to the shopping cart.

Any items that are out of stock, Boots and other vendors on Deliveroo will often call ahead to discuss any replacement items.

You can then track your delivery through the app or on the website, with options for contactless delivery, special delivery instructions (if you’re suddenly out and about) or contact the rider directly with any questions.
