📰 Everton is to provide free coach travel for the club’s FA Cup quarter-final tie at Crystal Palace.

The last-eight fixture has been scheduled to kick off at 12.30pm on Sunday 20 March, meaning Evertonians are unable to travel to Selhurst Park by train.

📰 An 18 year-old man has been arrested over Tuesday’s stabbing in Formby.

A 16-year-old boy was attacked in the graveyard of Our Lady of Compassion Church, Formby.

Police are still appealing for information following the incident at around 4.55pm. 

📰 A train driver who caused £450,000 worth of damage when he crashed a train carrying passengers at Kirkby station has walked free from court.

Former Merseyrail driver Phillip Hollis, 59, was given a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, at Liverpool Crown Court after pleading guilty to endangering the safety of people conveyed by railway at an earlier hearing.
