Dogs Trust are hoping to find forever homes for the adorable animals in their care and get their 2023 rehoming campaign off to a great start.
Due to the cost of living crisis, many owners are taking their pets to rescue centres, as they can no longer afford to care for them.
There are a range of puppies and dogs, at Dogs Trust Merseyside hoping to make your family complete - including a Siberian Husky and Pug.
Take a look at the wonderful dogs below to see if you could give one a loving home.

13. Maverick
Maverick is a Beagle cross who gets along well with other dogs and is happy to meet them for walks, however he does guard his food in the home so he cannot share his space with another dog. His new family will need to be able to manage the guarding in the home, as he will protect it from everyone. He needs a family with teenage kids who love long walks.
14. Thor
Thor is a Dogue De Bordeaux cross. He is not always great with unfamiliar people, any potential adopters will need to be committed to meeting him quite a few times whilst he’s at the centre, and will need to be mindful of this behaviour once he’s home. He has done brilliantly with muzzle training and now happily wears one for his walks. Thor is wonderful once he’s comfortable with you but he’s going to need a home with no kids, and where there are few, if any, visitors.
15. Spot
Spot is looking for an adult only home with adopters that are committed to come to the centre for multiple visits as Spot can be nervous of new people and takes him some time to get to know you. He’s nine-years-old and would love a new family.
