Headlines: A new festival is coming to the city - Liverpool Against Racism

The Omicron variant of coronavirus has been identified in Liverpool with work underway to trace any contacts. Sites are opening across Merseyside for people to go and get their booster jab. 

The number of children going into social care in St Helen’s is higher than the regional and national average when accounting for the size of the local authority. Councillors have now approved a children’s social care demand management strategy.

 And A new festival is coming to Liverpool which takes a stand against racism. Championed by the Mayor Joanne Anderson, Liverpool Against Racism will take place next April and will feature specially commissioned music and cultural events which stimulate conversation about racism.
