The first of three live Eurovision shows has kicked off in Liverpool, as acts competed in the first semi-final.
Alesha Dixon, Hannah Waddingham, and Julia Sanina hosted live from the M&S Bank Arena and 15 countries competed for one of ten spots in Saturday night’s Grand Final.
Rita Ora, Julia Sanina, Alyosha and Rebecca Ferguson also performed during the interval.
Ten acts made it through to the Grand Final:

- Switzerland - Remo Forrer
- Finland - Kaarija
- Czechia - Vesna
- Israel - Noa Kirel
- Portugal - Mimicat
- Sweden - Loreen
- Serbia - Luke Black
- Norway - Alessandra
