🚨 A man has been jailed for causing the death of Alan Williams, 74, and his dog in Belle Vale after a collision in November 2020. Jason McGuire, 33, of Cockshead Road, Belle Vale, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and has been jailed for five years and six months.

🧊 Sefton Council is reminding people about the dangers of going onto ice after three boys died after falling into a frozen lake near Solihull. The borough has a range of freshwater bodies, including lakes, ponds, rivers and stretches of canal.
