Brown was unanimously found guilty of murder by a jury, following a six-day trial.

DS Vaughan said: “This was a horrendous attack which left Lee Andrew fatally wounded.

“I hope that Brown will now reflect on the consequences of his actions while serving his significant jail time.

“Although no sentence can bring Lee Andrew back, I hope that the result today can bring family some sense of closure after they were put through the ordeal of a trial.
