6. The Arora Family
According to the latest Rich List, the Arora brothers (Simon, Bobby and Robin) jointly have a net worth of £2.53billion.
Simon Arora (pictured) was born in November 1969. He studied law at Cambridge University. In 1995, he went into business with his younger brother Bobby Arora, importing homewares from Asia and supplying them to UK retail chains, before buying B&M in 2004, which was then a struggling grocery chain based in Blackpool. John Gore is a British entertainment producer, known for his live theatre company the John Gore Organisation. The organisation formerly known as Key Brand Entertainment (KBE), is a producer and distributor of live theatre in North America, as well as an e-commerce company, focused on theatre. KBE was founded in the UK in 2004 by 14-time Tony Award winning Producer John Gore who is the company’s Chairman, CEO and Owner. He has a net worth of £1.9bn, increasing by £219 in the last year. 8. Fred and Peter Done
Fred Done is a British billionaire businessman and the owner of the bookmaking chain Betfred, which has more than 1,600 betting shops in the UK. In 1967 aged 24, Done opened his first bookmaker with his brother, which they funded by a win on England’s victory in 1966 FIFA World Cup the year before.
