Valentine's Day in Liverpool 2025: My guide to celebrating the most romantic day of the year

Love is in the air; whether you think Valentine's Day is the most romantic day of the year or a commercialised waste of money, there's no escaping it. From fun days out to candlelit concerts, we're taking a look at how we can celebrate with the ones we love in Liverpool this February.

If you like to bond over an activity, there's so much to choose from here in the city.

Valentine's Day in Liverpool 2025

• Flight Club is Liverpool's lively fairground-inspired Social Darts bar – and they're launching a Besties Brunch for Valentine's get-togethers between the 13th and 16th of February. Whether you're planning a date night for your other half and a group of your best couple friends, or you're single and looking for somewhere to celebrate the unconditional love between friends, everyone's welcome.

• Gravity MAX in Liverpool ONE is spread across two floors, with tons to explore, including bowling, an E-kart track and batting cages, to name just a few. They also have live music on offer too.

• One Under in the iconic Lyceum Building on Bold Street brings together a unique blend of crazy golf and neon party vibes where you can take on 18 holes across two immersive courses filled with whacky obstacles and the latest in golf tech.

• If you're looking to get those pulses racing, fans of Netflix's Bridgerton can step into the world of Regency-era romance with Candlelight: The Best of Bridgerton on Strings. This unique collaboration with Netflix, Shondaland, and Fever will transform St George's Hall Liverpool with a reimagined setlist spanning three seasons of the series. That is taking place on February 16th.

• Over at Sefton Park Palm House, they're hosting a Candlelight: Valentine's Day Special on the 14th, featuring favourite soundtracks from romantic classics like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Romeo and Juliet, and other heartfelt melodies.

• If you're after more of a chilled vibe, you can experience the revitalising effects of sound bath therapy and meditation to reset your mind and body at the Bluecoat. Let the sound waves 'wash' over you in candlelight for a chance to relax. That is on February 22nd.

Of course, you do not have to spend a penny to have a romantic day with your loved one; you can get out and explore one of our stunning parks, take a stroll by the river, or simply stay at home and get cosy under a blanket in front of the table.
