💷 The Federation of Small Businesses North West has responded to the latest business support measures, brought in due to COVID-19.

Chairman Chris Manka said the measures will help alleviate the intense pressures that small firms are currently under, and hopefully arrest a significant decline in confidence over this year.

💉 Liverpool City Council are continuing their calls for people to get vaccinated after releasing a video on Twitter showing young, unvaccinated people on a COVID ward.

It is believed that the chances of needing intensive hospital care due to coronavirus are slimmer if you have been vaccinated. 

🏘️ And more than 30 affordable homes could be built in Tranmere, in plans which would see a former social club demolished. Wirral Council has approved outline plans for homes on the site of the old Gladstone Social Club in Church Road.
