Liverpool weather: Sunshine returns as Met Office forecast highs of 23°C this week

As we move towards the middle of the week, we’re expecting plenty of sunshine in Liverpool and Merseyside.

It's a partly cloudy start to the week for the region but it should be staying nice and dry. It remains fairly warm for us here, with temperatures reaching highs of 21°C on Tuesday.

As we move towards the middle of the week, we're expecting plenty of sunshine with the exception of Chester where it will be partly cloudy. Should be staying dry for us. Highs of 23°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now, and it won't be as hot as it was last week with that mini heatwave.

However, it should be staying dry this week a and we should still be seeing lots of sunshine.

After those highs of 23°C on Wednesday, temperatures could drop as we move into the weekend.

By Saturday we could see some light rain, cooling down with highs of 14°C.
