Merseyside weather update Friday, 25 February, plus five-day forecast: Sunny intervals changing to cloudy

Towards the end of the week, there's patchy showers forecast for the region but just a 5% chance of rain in Liverpool. Temperatures hitting highs of 9°C.

As we move into the weekend, it's a dry picture which is good news. It's looking cloudy for the region apart from Southport where there'll be sunshine. Highs of 11°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now and it looks like after some patchy showers as we go into the weekend, it'll be drying up.

Plenty of clouds around and not feeling too chilly, temperatures could even climb into double figures over the weekend. By Tuesday it's looking sunny with a small chance of rain, highs of 8°C.
