Merseyside weather update Friday, 28 January, plus five-day forecast: Cloudy changing to sunny intervals

It's staying dry for us here towards the end of the week, though there's a distinct lack of sunshine. As a result, it is an overcast picture for the region. Temperatures are hitting highs of 11°C.

As we move into the weekend, it's looking like it could potentially be a damp picture for the region, except for Chester, where temperatures are climbing up to 14°C.. Highs of 12°C or 13°C elsewhere.

And looking at the five-day forecast now and from the weekend onwards, we could potentially be seeing some wet weather.

That lovely winter sunshine we've been experiencing could become a thing of the past. Next week, we could see light rain with temperatures reaching highs of 11°C on Tuesday.
