Merseyside weather update Saturday, 12 February, plus five-day forecast: Cloudy changing to light showers

As we move into the weekend, there's a chance of patchy rain across the region, apart from St Helens, where it remains dry but overcast. Temperatures reaching highs of 9°C.

At the latter part of the weekend, get your brollies and waterproofs out as it could be a washout with rain throughout the region. Temperatures dropping to 8°C.

And looking at the five day forecast now and unfortunately it's not looking as pleasant as it has been lately. At the latter part of the weekend and into early next week we could see some moderate downpours.

On a positive note it's not feeling too chilly. Things could be looking up by the middle of next week as we could see temperatures climb to 14°C.
