Merseyside weather update Tuesday, 25 January, plus five-day forecast: Mist changing to overcast

It's a dry start to the week, and we're seeing winter sunshine across the region—temperatures sitting between 7°C and 9°C.

As we move towards the middle of the week, it is staying dry and sunny for the most part. Partly cloudy over St Helens and Southport. Temperatures reaching highs of 10°C.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, it's a dry picture for the most part with plenty of winter sunshine.

At the latter part of the working week, there is a chance of showers, but with that, we're seeing temperatures climb, reaching as high as 12°C.

On Saturday, it's looking cloudy with a chance of showers, though again staying reasonably mild.
