Merseyside weather update Wednesday, 9 February, plus five-day forecast: Cloudy changing to sunny intervals

As we move towards the middle of the week, it’s a rather damp picture for us here in the region. There’s a 75% chance of light rain in Liverpool and Birkenhead. Highs of 8°C.

Looking at the latter part of the working week, things are looking up with some sunshine. Apart from St Helens where there’s patchy rain, and Southport where there could be sleet. Highs of 8°C.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, starting off wet, we could see some respite at the latter end of the working week with some much welcome winter sunshine. Temperatures sitting between 7°C and 8°C for the main.

By Sunday, we could see light rain however, temperatures are climbing into double figures with highs of 10°C.
