As fuel prices continue to rise, here are some of the cheapest places per litre in Liverpool.

Filling up an average tank now costs £80, according to latest figures out this week.

The price of petrol jumped to an all-time high of 148.02p per litre at the weekend, days after diesel reached a record 151.57p, according to the AA.

With that in mind, we found the cheapest 10 places to buy a litre of fuel in Liverpool on Wednesday 15 February 2022, with data from PetrolPrices.com.

1. Costco Liverpool Automat, Waterloo Street, L3 7HY: petrol 136.9p; diesel 148.6p.

2. Asda Walton Automat, Utting Avenue, L4 9XU: petrol 140.7p; diesel 146.7p.

3. Sainsburys, Rice Lane, L9 1NL: petrol 140.9p; diesel 146.9p.
