AFCON: How and when to watch Liverpool stars like Salah and Mane in action at African Cup of Nations
Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Naby Keita, plus Everton’s Alex Iwobi, left Merseyside last week to represent their nations at the Afrcian Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The quartet have began their journey in the competition this week and three of them ended up on the winning side after their opening matches.

Hide AdHow did their first matches go?
Sadio Mané was the first player in action in the tournament. He helped Senegal secure their first win in this year’s AFCON on Monday after scoring a stoppage-time penalty in a 1-0 win over Zimbabwe.
Naby Keita helped Guinea to beat Malawi 1-0 at the Stade de Kouekong, in Bafoussam. Now, Keita and Mané will face each other this Friday at 13:00 (UK time).
On Tuesday, Mohamed Salah and Alex Iwobi both featured as Nigeria beat Egypt thanks to a beautiful goal from Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
Salah’s Pharaohs will face Guinea-Bissau next Saturday at the Stade Roumdé Adija in Garoua at 19:00 (UK time), while Nigeria will battle against Sudan at the Stade Roumdé Adija at 16:00 (UK time) on the same day.

Sky Sports will broadcast all the 52 matches of the tournament live. The coverage of the AFCON will be divided between Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Premier League.
The BBC will also cover the tournament as they will broadcast 10 games, including two quarter-finals, both semi-finals and the final of the tournament.
