The January transfer window opens in little more than 11 days’ time - and Everton have seemingly already completed one piece of business.
Vitaliy Mykolenko is primed to move to Goodison Park from Dynamo Kiev. It’s reported the Toffees will pay around £18 million for the left-back.
Rafa Benitez will no doubt want more additions on top of Mykolenko to catapult Everton back up the Premier League table.
But given the current precarious financial situation at the Blues, sales may be required to bring in fresh faces.
Since the summer window slammed shut, there have been no less than 10 players either linked with moves away from Merseyside or reportedly admired by potential suitors.
We take a look at how many, if any at all, could depart Everton midway through the season.
Scroll down to see who’s been linked with a departure and our verdict on each.

5. Allan
Transfer reporter Fabio Santini claimed in October that Juventus were interested in a swap deal for Aaron Ramsey. Allan might not be the most mobile, but Benitez’s recent comments calling him a ‘warrior’ suggest a departure may not be sanctioned. Photo: hris Brunskill/ Getty Images
6. Abdoulaye Doucoure
The powerhouse midfielder’s early-season form caught the eye of Man Utd in October, according to Fichajes. However, Everton would do well to replace Doucoure in the summer never mind the middle of the season. Before his foot injury, he was one of the best performers in the top flight. 7. Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Arsenal supposedly remain hot on the striker’s tail. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s exile makes the situation slightly more intriguing but Everton surely won’t contemplate allowing Calvert-Lewin to depart. How they’ve missed him while he’s been injured. Benitez will relish having him back for the second half of the season. Photo: Chris Brunskill/Getty Images
8. Salomon Rondon
Only months after his arrival, Fanatik claimed that Turkish outfit Sivasspor were interested in Rondon, although those reports were soon shut down by the club’s president. Rondon might not have had a great time at Goodison so far but he’s a player who Benitez continues to have trust in. Will be back-up when Calvert-Lewin returns to full fitness.
