Everton bid to continue their unbeaten start to the season with a trip to Aston Villa this evening.

The Toffees are full of confidence after defeating Burnley 3-1 on Monday night to go joint-top of the table.

Here’s all the key info you need ahead of kick-off at Villa Park (17.30 BST).

Is Dominic Calvert-Lewin back fit for Everton?

No. The striker remains absent with a quad injury and is sidelined for 2-3 weeks.

Who will play ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin?

Rafa Benitez opted for a 3-4-3 formation against Burnley, with Seamus Coleman and Lucas Digne operated as wing-backs.

However, Everton were far better when they switched to a 4-3-3 system, with Andre Gomes coming on for Ben Godfrey.

That’s how the Toffees may line up at Villa Park. It will mean there’s no direct replacement for Calvert-Lewin, with Richarlison instead playing as a lone striker and would likely be flanked by Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray.

Could Salomon Rondon make his full debut?

If Benitez wants to go with two strikers then he could.

Rondon was handed his Everton bow off the bench against Burnley and showed glimpses of what he has to offer.

Should the Toffees aim to test the physicality of Villa’s rearguard then he’s the option to go to with Calvert-Lewin out.

Will James Rodriguez make the bench?

Benitez was due to run the rule over the Colombian’s fitness yesterday in training before making a decision.

Rodriguez is yet to be involved in any game so far this season.

What’s the other injury news?

Fabian Delph remains sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Striker Cenk Tosun has returned to training, though, as he continues his recovery from a long-term knee problem.

What about the opposition?

Summer signing Emiliano Buendia and Emiliano Martinez might be back after missing last week’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea.

They were forced to isolate having represented Argentina during the international break.
