Diaz price named
Everton remain interested in Luis Diaz - and Porto have made him available for £43 million, according to Correio da Manha
The Toffees attempted a late bid for the Colombia international in the summer. They tried to use James Rodriguez as a makeweight but he would not agree to the deal.

Hide AdThe Portuguese outfit were asking £68 million for Diaz but now they've dropped their price for financial reasons.
- Rumour rated: it will hardly be a surprise that Everton are still keen on Diaz. He's establishing himself as one of the premier wingers in Europe, having recorded six goals and one assist already this season.
But, given the financial fair play restrictions at Goodison, could the Blues pay anywhere near the said fee? It would be difficult unless there were a few player sales to raise funds.
Diaz's exploits have recently seen him linked with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea. In reality, Everton may not be able to compete with the European elite if flex their muscle.
Isco eyed

Hide AdEverton could swoop for Real Madrid's out-of-favour Isco in January, as per Mundo Deportivo.
The playmaker has won four Champions League trophies and two La Ligas titles at the Santiago Bernabeau.
However, he's been out of favour under Carlo Ancelotti this season, making just two starts in all competitions.
It’s said Everton have the ‘best chance’ of signing the 29-year-old.

Hide Ad- Rumour verdict: it's not the first time that the Spain international has been linked with Everton.
That's mainly down to Benitez, having worked together at Madrid.
Isco is out of contract at the end of the season and means he could be in the Blues' price range if Real look to cash in on him rather than losing him on a free.
Benitez wants players who he can trust, who he knows will meet his intense demands.

Hide AdIt wouldn't come without a gamble, however. Just look at how Rodriguez's Goodison career panned out.
Isco was also a bit-part player last season under Zinedine Zidane and his wages wouldn't be cheap.
Everton would have to weigh both sides up before making a decision.
Stuck with Cenk
Besiktas will look to sign Cenk Tosun in the summer rather than January, claims Sabah.

Hide AdThe striker is yet to play for Everton, having suffered a serious knee injury in February when on loan at the Turkish side.
Tosun moved to Goodison Park from Besiktas in January 2018 but has managed just 11 goals in 58 outings.
- Rumour rated: with Tosun out of contract at the end of the season, it makes sense for the current Turkish champions to hold out rather than paying a fee in January.
The 30-year-old is surplus to requirements on Merseyside and it's difficult to see him get much of a look in.

Hide AdPerhaps Everton could look to come to an agreement and cancel Tosun's contract in January, which would free up some wages, at least.
Regardless, whenever he leaves it will finally put Sam Allardyce's turgid time in charge to rest.
