Everton wield axe on four more members of staff after Rafa Benitez sacking

Everton have confirmed that four members of Rafa Benitez’s backroom staff have followed him out of the exit door.
Francisco de Miguel Moreno, Antonio Gomez, Jamie Harley and Cristian Fernandez have all left Goodison Park.

Hide AdThe news comes just a day after the axe was wielded on Benitez.
He was relieved of his duties after a 2-1 loss to Norwich City, stretching Everton’s horrendous run to only one win in 13 Premier League games.
Fernandez only arrived in October as rehabilitation fitness coach after Benitez conducted an internal review of the club. He’d worked with Benitez at Newcastle, along with Moreno, Gomez and Harley.

Hide AdA club statement said: “Everton can confirm Francisco de Miguel Moreno, Antonio Gomez, Jamie Harley and Cristian Fernandez have left Everton’s First-Team technical staff with immediate effect.
“De Miguel Moreno (Assistant Manager), Gomez (First-Team Coach and Senior Analyst), Harley (Head of Sports Science) and Fernandez (First-Team Rehabilitation Fitness Coach) worked alongside Rafael Benitez who departed the Club as First-Team Manager on Sunday.”
