Everton's season has been full of drama and that could continue into the summer as their second set of charges and proposed takeover reach their end.
The squad saw some additions last summer, but two arrived on loan and there's no telling as of right now how much money will be available. On top of that, a few contracts are set to expire and they could even have to face bids from bigger clubs for some of their star assets. With all that in mind, we've decided to predict what Everton's starting XI could look like if the transfer rumours are true, taking their value from Transfermarkt.
9. RW - Jack Harrison
Despite only being on loan, he reportedly wants to stay at Everton and remain in the Premier League regardless of Leeds United's potential promotion. His parent club has moved onto a younger, fresher attack and Everton need Harrison on the right.
10. LW - Dwight McNeil
A mainstay in the team under Dyche, at his best he can provide a goal and creative threat alongside a high work rate. However, he too has failed to prosper in front of goal and needs to improve. There were a lot of links to wingers in the summer but reports have gone dry since.
11. ST - Dominic Calvert-Lewin
The striker is still their number one goalscorer despite enduring a horror spell in front of goal. Reports are few and far between for attacking targets.
12. Substitutes:
Joao Virginia; Nathan Patterson, Ben Godfrey, Seamus Coleman, Idrissa Gueye, Lewis Dobbin, Beto, Youssef Chermiti
