Frank Lampard admitted that Everton defender Ben Godfrey’s injury he picked up in the victory over Brentford is ‘not good’.
Godfrey limped out of the 4-1 FA Cup defeat of the Bees in just the 14th minute.

He was replaced by Yerry Mina, who opened the scoring for the home side in what was a perfect start to Lampard’s reign as Toffees boss.
Godfrey was then spotted leaving Goodison Park on crutches after the final whistle.
Lampard confessed the England international faces a spell on the sidelines although he couldn’t give a time frame.
The Everton boss said: “It’s a hamstring injury, which is to be assessed.

“It’s not good, he will be missing for a period of time. I don’t necessarily know the severity of the injury but it’s a hamstring.”
