Digne was an unused substitute in Les Bleus' 3-2 Nations League semi-final defeat of Belgium last night.
It’s reported the defender has suffered a hamstring injury and will be absent for Sunday's final against Spain.
There's no timescale on Digne's setback but it will be a big blow for the Toffees if he's set for a spell on the sidelines.
He's started every Premier League game this season, helping Everton to accrue 14 points from their opening seven matches.
Who could be his replacement?

Should Digne be absent for a prolonged period, Everton boss Rafa Benitez will have to find a suitable replacement.
The Blues have no other recognised senior left-back option available after loaning Niels Nkounkou to Standard Liege on summer transfer deadline day.
The obvious deputy is Ben Godrey, who has been filling in at right-back while Seamus Coleman has been on the treatment table.
Coleman is closing in on a return to full fitness after his own hamstring issue.

Mason Holgate has been on the fringes of things this season but has operated as an auxiliary full-back in the past. He could step in if required.
There's also the option of switching to a wing-back system and starting youngster Anthony Gordon in the role down the flank.
The academy graduate caught the eye in Everton's 1-1 draw at Manchester United before the international break when making his maiden league start of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Fabian Delph played left-back last season when Digne was absent, but the ex-Man City midfielder has been struggling with a shoulder injury.
