Now Frank Lampard will be hoping his side get back to the sort of form that saw Everton go seven matches unbeaten earlier in the campaign.
The Blues will be without four players against Palace, however.
It’s still unknown when Yerry Mina (calf) will be available again while Nathan Patterson (ankle) is set to return to training next week.
Ben Godfrey (fractured leg) will also join his team-mates for training next week but won’t be available until after the World Cup.

But the visitors could be without seven players at Goodison.
Cheick Doucoure must serve a one-match suspension having been booked five times this season.
James McArthur (hip) still isn't available for the Eagles, along with Nathaniel Clyne, Nathan Ferguson ( both foot), Christopher Richards (thigh) and Jack Butland (hand).
Will Hughes has also been ill so may not play.
