This is how much Nathan Patterson and Vitaliy Mykolenko will reportedly earn per week at Everton

Everton are closing in on making Nathan Patterson their second signing of the January transfer window.

The Toffees have moved quickly since the window opened, with the Rangers right-back edging towards a deal.

It's another significant financial outlay as Rafa Benitez plots Everton's surge up the Premier League table.

The manager has come under intense pressure from fans after just one win in 12 games following Sunday's 3-2 loss to Brighton.

And according to Football Insider, Patterson will initially earn £28,000 per week on Merseyside.

The Scotland international is said to have already travelled south of the border to conduct his medical.

When could Patterson make his Everton debut?

Everton will be hoping to have the transfer rubber-stamped so Patterson can play against Hull City in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

The Championship outfit would be perfect opposition for the youngster to make his Blues bow.

Patterson's only played 11 times for Rangers this season and is yet to experience the Premier League.

Facing Hull would be a sound game from him to bed into life at Goodison.

Vitaliy Mykolenko has already become the Blues' first signing this month.

Everton supposedly paid around £18 million for Mykolenko.

Reports in Ukraine have said that the left-back will pick up £58,000 per week at Goodison.

He too should feature at Hull. Like Patterson, Mykolenko hasn't played in the Premier League before.

The Ukraine international should start at left-back, having been forced to watch the Brighton defeat from the stands.

Lucas Digne returned to the match-day squad against the Seagulls after missing the previous three games.

However, the France international was left on the bench as he looks set to depart this month.
