What’s wrong at Everton? It’s the players, board and owner say the people of Liverpool

Duncan Ferguson's big return fell flat as Everton lost 1 -0 to Aston Villa at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Owner Farhad Moshiri has invested a further £100m into the club, but the fans aren't happy.

They were protests against the board after the match and ugly scenes during the match.

So just what is it that the club needs? We ask the people of Liverpool.

Robert says: "They need a good sack full of money and to get rid of the players that they've got now. Get rid of Kenwright because he doesn't know what he's doing."

‘They've got to go back to grassroots. Ferguson is the man’

John says: "The most frustrating thing with Everton is that they've had lots of money, haven't they? I wouldn't exactly say they've wasted it, but they have in certain areas. They've got to go back to grassroots, and Ferguson is the man."

‘I think the players need to do a little bit more’

Babs says: "I don't know because I can't blame the managers, and I'm being honest with you - they're doing their bit, but I think the players need to do a little bit more - they're the ones on the pitch."
