It is said that the 28-year old wants to leave Turin but the English sides could still face competition for his signature from other European heavyweights.

Here is everything you need to know about what has been reported, including Dybala’s current contract situation with Juventus:

As reported by 90mins, Liverpool are amongst six Premier League clubs who have been contacted by the player’s representatives about a potential summer move.

The site claims that the Argentina international “plans to leave Turin this summer, and his representatives are putting feelers out to a number of European clubs.”

It is also said that PSG and Inter could make moves to sign the player after a proposed contract extension with Juventus fell through.

However, despite claiming that Dybala agreed terms on a five-year deal worth €8m per year before Christmas, which collapsed when terms were altered by Juventus at the last minute, the previously mentioned clubs “are not convinced that he is actually going to leave I Bianconeri.”

What would Paulo Dybala bring to Liverpool and the Premier League?

Football fans in England should be familiar with Dybala as a player with the striker having played over 250 matches for Juventus in the past seven seasons and won 32 caps for the Argentina men’s national side.

After first bursting on to the scene in Italy with Palermo in 2012, Dybala moved to Turin for €32 million in June 2015.

Since then he has won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia, three Supercoppa Italiana and a runner’s up medal from the 2017 Champions League final.

He was named in the Serie A Team of the Season four out of his first six seasons with Juventus and was the Serie A Most Valuable Player for the 2019-20 season.

He has scored 11 goals in 23 games across all competitions for Juventus this season.

The 28-year old is also the vice-captain at the Allianz Stadium and regularly wears the armband in the absence of Giorgio Chiellini.

On the international stage, the striker has won 32 caps for Argentina since 2015 but has only scored two goals for his country in a 2018 friendly against Mexico and at the 2019 Copa America against Chile.

Who will Paulo Dybala sign for if he leaves Juventus?

Out of the Premier League clubs mentioned, Arsenal are the team most in need of a new striker with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang having left in January to join Barcelona and Alexandre Lacasette expected to leave in the summer.

Manchester United could also be a likely option, they should have a new head coach in place by the summer who may well be keen on the idea of reuniting Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo after the pair achieved so much together in Turin.

Manchester City seems like an unlikely destination with Pep Guardiola’s side having just brought in another Argentinian forward in Julien Alvarez last month.

Meanwhile, Liverpool and Chelsea both have plenty of options in the forward areas at the moment but may see Dybala as a strong edition to further bolster their striker force.
