With Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah both turning 30 this year, Liverpool are looking to add some more youth to their ranks, following in Luis Diaz’s footsteps.

The Colombian winger joined the Reds for an initial £37.5 million fee and is set to become one part of their future front three alongside Diogo Jota.

Liverpool are now on the hunt for another attacker and have turned their attentions to Ajax winger, Antony.

The 21-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool and they could face competition from a number of other Premier League clubs, according to 90min.

The Merseyside club have long been admirers of Antony and it is thought the winger is keen on a move to England, with Ajax boss Erik ten Hag admitting it will be hard for them keep him on board beyond this season.

Liverpool have been watching the Brazilian since he was playing in his native country and have since been impressed by his form in Europe.

Antony has scored 16 goals and assisted another 10 in Eredivisie since his arrival in the Netherlands, also scoring in Champions League victories with Borussia Dortmund and Sporting Lisbon earlier this season.

The 21-year-old made his international debut in Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Venezuela in October, scoring a 95th minute goal to make it 3-1.

90min claim that Chelsea are also monitoring Antony, with the likes of Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi underperforming this season.
