Liverpool aim to maintain their unbeaten start to 2022 when they travel to Burnley on Sunday.

The Reds are refusing to give up on chasing down Premier League leaders Manchester City despite being nine points behind.

But they’ll face a completely different proposition in Burnley, who are fighting for their lives at the foot of the table.

Burnley will be without Charlie Taylor (foot), Johann Gudmundsson (illness) and Matej Vydra (hernia).

Klopp, perhaps for the first time as Liverpool manager, has a complete squad to select from.

Sadio Mane will be back in the fold after returning to Merseyside following Senegal’s African Cup of Nations triumph.

A spot on the bench is most likely for the winger.

Jordan Henderson has also recovered from the back issue that kept him out of the Leicester game.

Mo Salah should return to the starting line-up having shown no signs of fatigue when on as a substitute in the victory over the Foxes.

Divock Origi and Joe Gomez could again be omitted from the match-day squad, while Takumi Minamino may make way for Mane.

Klopp could also rest some players with the first leg against Inter Milan in the Champions League last 16 next week.
