Liverpool and Everton have experiened very contrasting fortunes so far this season, with the Reds fighting to get into the top four places, whilst Frank Lampard’s men sit firmly rooted in a relegation battle.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds finished second last season to Manchester City, but currently sit in ninth place, 10 points off top four and 19 points off leaders Arsenal - it simply hasn’t gone to plan.
Whilst Everton sit in 19th on 15 points, only two points seperate the five teams above them, and they will be hoping for any improvement on dismal form that has seen them win just three games so far this season.
