Davies arrived from Preston in the January transfer window amid a defensive crisis but has been surplus to requirements at Anfield.

The 26-year-old is a regular for the Blades, though, in their attempt to achieve immediate promotion back to the Premier League.

He's made three appearances since his deadline-day departure and has not played a league game since September 18.

That was against Luton when Williams was allegedly racially abused by a Hatters.

Swansea languish 19th in the table after reaching the play-off final last term.
