Liverpool look to book their spot in the Carabao Cup final when they face Fulham on Wednesday night (20.00 GMT).

The Reds hold a 2-1 aggregate lead heading into the semi-final second leg at Craven Cottage. And despite a 4-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth to move five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, Jurgen Klopp still has some decisions to make when it comes to his starting line-up.

Ahead of the clash, here's an early look at the changes Liverpool could make against Fulham.

Goalkeeper and Defence

Caoimhin Kelleher will get his latest outing in goal as he's Liverpool's confirmed Carabao Cup keeper when fit, which will mean No.1 Alisson Becker makes way.

Klopp doesn't have too many options to change his defence even if he wanted to. Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) and Andy Robertson (shoulder) may not be back fit in time - or not risked. It means that Conor Bradley is likely to make a third successive start on the right-hand side while Joe Gomez is probable to continue on the left.

Liverpool could look to manage Ibrahima Konate's minutes, however. The France international has been in imperious form of late as he produced another dominant display at Bournemouth but he has had a tendency to pick up niggling issues in the past. It could mean that Jarell Quansah, enjoying a fine breakthrough campaign, partners Virgil van Dijk in the middle of the rearguard, although there is a chance for Konate to be rested against Norwich City in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Midfield

The Reds may not be awash with players who can operate in the middle of the park, either. Thiago Alcantara (hip), Stefan Bajcetic (growing pains) and Wataru Endo (Asian Cup) will all be absent in the capital. Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai has missed the previous three games with a hamstring injury and might not be fit enough to start even if he is in the squad.

What's more, Curtis Jones was withdrawn late against Bournemouth but Klopp did not sound too concerned. Jones has been a linchpin in the Liverpool side of late and his qualities are starting to be recognised on a wider scale. However, if the former England under-21 international is carrying an issue then Liverpool won't want to make it worse.

Alexis Mac Allister delivered one of his finest displays in the No.6 role at the Cherries, with his first-half performance, in particular, magnificent. However, Harvey Elliott struggled to get into the game and Ryan Gravenberch added more thrust from the bench so that is a decision for Klopp to make.

Forwards

Doubles from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota in the second half did the damage against Bournemouth. The pair were both subdued in the opening 45 minutes but were much improved when Nunez moved to a central role and Jota out to the right flank.

That's the roles they could start in at Fulham. And it'd be fair to say Cody Gakpo will be hoping for an opportunity from the outset. He's impressed in his past two outings from the bench and could rival Luis Diaz, whose form has been up-and-down of late, for the berth on the left wing.
